Recipe Q&A

How do I ensure the dough rises properly?

Use warm liquids (milk and water) and a draft-free environment. The dough should double in size, usually taking about 40 minutes.

Can I add nuts or fruits to the filling?

Yes, chopped nuts or raisins can be mixed into the cinnamon sugar filling for added texture and flavor.

What is the best way to shape the wreath?

After rolling the dough into a rectangle and spreading the filling, roll it tightly, cut lengthwise, twist the halves, then form into a circle and pinch ends to seal.

How should the glaze be applied?

Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth, then drizzle over the warm wreath just after baking.

Can the wreath be prepared ahead of time?

Yes, you can prepare the dough and wreath in advance, refrigerate it, and bake when ready, allowing more flexibility with timing.

What baking temperature and time are recommended?

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 22–25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
